ABOUT PEYTON

Peyton Weatherbie is an attorney practicing in the areas of elder law, long-term care planning, and trust and estate planning.  Her practice centers on helping clients navigate the complex issues surrounding Medicaid benefits and other long-term care planning issues.  Peyton also has experience helping clients design an estate plan that meets the needs and goals of their family.  During her time at KU Law, Peyton participated in the Elder Law Field Placement at Kansas Legal Services and the Pro Bono Guardianship Assistance Program. 


Peyton lives in Lawrence with her husband and their two German Shepherd dogs.  In her spare time, Peyton enjoys going on walks and playing frisbee with her dogs, spending time with family, and baking.
