  • ABOUT SCOTT

    Scott E. Taddiken grew upon a farm north of Clay Center, Kansas, and lives in Topeka with his wife Gina and their daughters, Anna and Kate. Scott enjoys being active in their church and the local community.

    Scott has been a licensed attorney in the State of Kansas since 2003, and focuses on assisting clients with legal matters related to:

    • • Wills & Trusts
    • • Durable power of attorney documents, including health care documents & living wills
    • • Farm & Ranch estate & succession planning
    • • Special needs trusts
    • • Family business law, including LLCs and corporations
    • • Estate & probate matters, including obtaining “letters testamentary” and appointing an Executor

    Scott graduated from Kansas State University, and then attended Washburn University where he graduated Cum Laude from the Washburn School of Law, and earned a Master of Business (MBA) degree through the Washburn School of Business. After graduating, Scott started a law practice with a focus on working with families to prepare wills, trusts, and estate plans that help to protect assets, minimize taxes, promote family harmony, and provide peace of mind. Scott values a personal friendly relationship with his clients, and enjoys being of assistance to their families when needed.

    In addition to practicing law, Scott has enjoyed teaching as an adjunct professor at Washburn University, and working with the Small Business Development Center.

    Scott regularly presents on various topics at conferences throughout the State of Kansas. A representative sample of recent or upcoming presentations include:
